Apollo Home Healthcare are recruiting dedicated Healthcare Assistants who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our service user with his complex care needs.

Our service user is a teen male who lives in Rochdale with his loving family. We are looking for a dedicated team to support his complex needs on a 1:1 basis throughout the night.

He loves attending school throughout the day, interacting and socialising with his friends and teachers.

His hobbies include listening to all types of music, watching television, exploring the outdoors, playing with his light up toys, and exploring sensory activities.

Your role will be to support his clinical care throughout the night through close observations and monitoring. Supporting with all personal care, repositioning, and offering reassurance and comfort to ensure a restful night’s sleep.

Building a positive relationship with our service user will support with fully understanding his requirements, as he is unable to communicate this verbally. It is important we anticipate his wants and needs to ensure all his needs are met.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal care
- Moving and positioning
- Medication Administration

**Desired Experience**
- PEG Feeding
- Oxygen Administration
- Seizure management

**We have the following shifts available**
- Full time & Part time
- Nights
- 10pm-7am

**Take a look at our pay rates**
- Weeknights
- £11.50 per hour (Approx. £103.50 per 9-hour shift
- Weekends £12.00 per hour (Approx. £108 per 9-hour shift)
