We are recruiting for a Van Network Planner to join our team. You will be responsible for both strategic and day to day Transport Planning in multiple depots, you will create, execute and review all Paragon transport plans. In this hybrid role you will work closely with depot teams to ensure transport plans are achievable, cost effective and deliver a premium service.

**You will be accountable for**:

- Produce transport plans using transport planning software including Paragon and an execution TMS.
- Produce plans for a variety of workflows - Parcelshop, SME, Click & Collect and Returns.
- Continual review and improvement of transport plan templates to ensure cost effectiveness and optimal resource utilisation.
- Continuously improve the accuracy of plans.
- Deliver change programmes as directed by Van Network Optimisation Manager
- Work closely with key contacts within area of responsibility to maintain plan adherence and escalate to operational managers where appropriate.
- Make suggestions on design, embedding and review planning processes and procedures to ensure effective implementation based on impact to areas.
- Compile plan vs actual data, statistics and reports, evidencing challenges to operational teams to ensure plans remain effective.
- Provide cost analysis on potential new transport activity and model business change for area of responsibility.
- Create peak depot transport plans, ensuring capacity and cost efficiency is assured for area of responsibility.To be successful you will;
- Highly experience with Data manipulation and analytical capabilities and lateral thinking.
- Communication and influencing, a relationship builder
- Independent, with ability to organise workload and maintain deadlines under own initiative.
- Paragon Transport Planning.
- You will understand the Transport operations, driver legislation and related processes.
- Microsoft Office including Excel.

Qualifications;
- GCSE level 9-4 required or equivalent.
- Strong mathematical skills and computer literacy
