**Job Title**:Environmental and Safety Coordinator**

**Location**:India Mill, Darwen**

**Job Type**:Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week over a 4-day** week, Monday to Thursday**

**Salary/Hour Rate**:Competitive based on skills, experience, and relevant qualifications**

**Here is what you can expect to be doing**:
**Principal responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Provide training to employees on environmental practices.
- Stay current on relevant safety and environmental regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and participate in audits to ensure compliance.
- Assess environmental aspects and impacts and develop strategies to minimise the organisation's environmental footprint.
- Monitor and analyse data related to safety and environmental performance.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

**When you are working**:
**4-day week** Monday to Thursday 07:15 am to 5:00 pm totaling 37 hours weekly.
