Healthy Minds Lincolnshire provides early and preventative emotional wellbeing interventions for children, young people and their families across Lincolnshire. We work with children and young people on a variety of emotional wellbeing needs including but not limited to: anxiety, low mood, self-harm, self-esteem, and anger.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two full time Band 7 Clinical Leads to join the Healthy Minds Lincolnshire team on a 12 month fixed term/secondment basis. One post will be to cover the East of Lincolnshire and one to cover the West of Lincolnshire
- base to be negotiated.
As a Band 7 clinical lead the post holder would provide the expert knowledge in relation to young peoples emotional wellbeing and support the clinical team to develop their roles and the provision of care within the community setting.
To lead the team in the clinical delivery of care.
Use specialist knowledge to deal effectively with newly encountered clinical situations.
Assess, plan, implement, review, improve interventions and treatment pathways to meet people's identified needs and manage their inherent risk with comprehensive Clinical Risk Formulation and care planning
Work jointly with the Team Coordinator in supporting the delivery of high standard of clinical care for young people in complex circumstances experiencing difficulties with their emotional wellbeing.
Provide leadership and work in partnership with service users, their carers' and colleagues.
To work collaboratively and promote effective working relationships with members of the multi-disciplinary team and community teams, ensuring appropriate clinical decision-making, with other professionals and agencies.
To be a lead for transitions, improving the quality of a young persons discharge from services, ensuring they are supported to maintain their wellbeing into adult hood.

To lead the team in the clinical delivery of care.
The hours would be largely Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with the occasional late night working.
Demonstrate the ability to effectively influence the clinical dimensions of service development.
Use specialist knowledge to deal effectively with newly encountered complex clinical situations.
Work with individuals to assess their mental health, recognise mental illness and identify their related needs and circumstances, for example, wider environmental and social issues; and enable them to understand, manage and where appropriate change their behaviour by linking them with evidence based treatment pathways, or engaging with wider services as necessary.
Plan, implement, review, improve interventions and treatment pathways to meet people’s identified needs and manage their inherent risk with comprehensive Clinical Risk assessment and care planning
To assess carers’ and families needs and develop, implement and review programmes of support for carers and families.
Protect people from abuse, neglect and harm.
To work collaboratively and promote effective working relationships with members of the multi-disciplinary team and community teams, ensuring appropriate clinical decision-making, with other professionals and agencies.
To be a lead for transitions, improving the quality of a young persons discharge from services, ensuring they are supported to maintain their wellbeing into adult hood.
To provide clinical leadership for young people who are leaving care, ensuring their care is seamless as they move into adult hood.
To support transitions of young people to adult services.
To adhere to N.M.C. or other professional codes of conduct and ethics, plus associated legislation.
To develop clinical practice having due regard tor the NICE Guidelines in respect of treatment for mental health disorders in children and adolescents.
