**Procurement Officer**

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Officer will be responsible for delivery of procurement exercises and providing overall support to the Procurement Team.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Deliver procurement exercises in line with the requirements of stakeholders and the Procurement Team forward plan, in line with UK public procurement legislation
- Administration of the e-procurement system, ProContract including development of Supplier Questionnaires, tender evaluations, award letters and other administration required within the procurement process
- Provide guidance on Great Places Procurement Procedures, ensuring that procurement is performed in a compliant manner
- Support Procurement Manager to deliver category strategies and category strategic plans
- Analysis and recording of supplier performance and spend
- Carry out research into specific markets to identify potential suppliers, trends and innovations
- Engage with key stakeholders and work collaboratively to ensure value for money from supplier arrangements
- Guiding staff on how to use internal e-systems, databases and procedures
- Act as an ambassador for the Procurement Team

**What you’ll need**
- Experience of utilising Microsoft Office
- Ability to complete tasks in an accurate, timely and industrious manner when working under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Effective liaison with stakeholders to find and give information in order to resolve problems
- Able to deliver a high standard of customer service
- Organisation and ability to time-manage work load
- The ability to develop and project a positive image of Great Places through personal, written and oral skills
