This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team, driving procurement excellence in Adult Social Care and Public Health services.
Job Opportunity: Senior Procurement Officer Location: Remote (with occasional office attendance) Salary: Negotiable Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Contract: 3 months (potential for extension) Role Overview: In this pivotal position, you will lead and manage procurement activities, ensuring compliance with Public Contracts Regulations while delivering value-driven and innovative solutions.
Working primarily remotely, you will be required to attend on-site meetings and team collaboration days on occasion.
Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including tenders, further competitions, and direct contract awards.
Manage large-scale tenders, framework agreements, and lower-value procurements.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organisational policies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and deliver effective procurement solutions.
Proactively assess and mitigate risks within procurement activities.
What We're Looking For: Proven Experience: Substantial procurement expertise within the Adult Social Care or Public Health sectors.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Public Contracts Regulations and procurement frameworks.
Procurement Skills: Demonstrated success managing complex tenders and competitive procurement processes.
Adaptability: Ability to handle both high-value and lower-value procurements with a flexible and pragmatic approach.
