Join Sharpsmart Finance Team as Payroll and Finance Clerk, coordinating monthly payroll processing, payroll related payments/ queries, month end processing, onboarding and maintaining accurate payroll employee information. Additionally, you will support the wider finance team with various finance administration tasks as required.

**Your role will involve**:

- Execute, validate and perform necessary tasks to complete accurate and successful bi-weekly employee payroll.
- Manage vacation and sick time accruals in payroll system and ensure all time off request are processed in-line with payroll cycle.
- Audit payroll and rectify any processing errors, time card issues, missed wages, manual checks, and other exceptions in a timely manner.
- Process employee changes in payroll system timely and maintain accurate and up to date employee files
- Prepare monthly management reporting
- Ensure end of year compliance for payroll and W2 compliance.
- General administrative duties that relate to payroll and finance
- Manage & maintain the finance mailbox ensuring accurate recording of invoice queries
- Manage travel arrangements
- Providing administrative support to other members of the finance team and departments of the business as required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role coordinating payroll
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
- Outstanding organisational ability with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
- Knowledge of UK legislation and regulations
