Join Sharpsmart People and Culture Team as HR Officer, providing HR advice and guidance to focused business areas. In this exciting role you will be responsible for delivering an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees and managers in relation to employee-relations, payroll and training and development
**Key responsibilities**:
- Helping and Supporting with duties necessary to process the monthly payroll, maintaining related records, collating HR data required by the Finance department and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR matters
- Supporting in maintenance, data input and continuous improvements of Employee HRIS and payroll systems and ensuring compliance with GDPR.
- Creation and Delivery of training
- Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and documents
- Driving the delivery of business and P&C plans and continuous improvement including but not limited to JD’s, exit interviews, onboarding, training and development and other planned HR initiatives.
- Maintenance of the DBS, employer pension and HMRC systems, actioning queries as required
- Supporting in the development of employee onboarding, and development plans
- CIPD Level 3/5 Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent (Desired)
- Good knowledge of employment legislation
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Full driving licence with the ability to travel throughout the UK
