Good musical knowledge, especially of African-Caribbean music. Experienced and aware of modern contemporary Christian songs.

**Minimum Qualifications Required**
- Be a committed evangelical/Pentecostal Christian.
- Teaching and preparing Bible study manuals, leading congregational worship, proselytising, and planning/organizing church evangelism outreaches and music concerts.
- Be an experienced piano player, and ability to coordinate gospel choir and knowledge of other musical instruments. Good knowledge of sound, musical tuning, church audio-visual, & graphics
- Good musical knowledge, especially of African-Caribbean music. Experienced and aware of modern contemporary Christian songs. Able to teach music and willing to work with a small group/team choir.
- Understand the West Africa / Caribbean culture (at least able to speak one local African language), and able to minister to the needs peculiar to that ethnic group.

**MUST HAVE**
- Ability to play the Gaagan African drum and operate a PA SYSTEM

**Desirable**

Ability to play the African talking drum

Ideally, have experience serving in the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Offer pastoral support to people from different cultures, minority ethnic groups, especially those whose first language is primarily not English and understand some of the challenges and complexities that these migrants who have relocated would normally face.
- To Lead and support the church choir, develop the music ministry such that the entire church ministries are developed. Music ministry will be used as an evangelical tool to reach the community. Organise church musical concerts, programs, praise/ worship sessions.
- Teach and develop the musical skills of our children and youths. Teaching our children and teenagers musical instruments is paramount. Enhancing and developing the Children's choir. Mentor and train the younger generation interested in learning or perfecting musical skills.
- To support, and when necessary, lead church programs, evangelism, and outreaches through musical involvement, biblical teachings, and program development/coordination. The aim must be to support the Senior Pastor and leadership in growing the ministry. Must be available at all times to support the work of the ministry in any capacity required.
- To assist in the set-up of musical instruments and provide advice on the purchase of musical instruments. Coordinate the technical team and general IT, audio-visual, social media, website, and graphics requirements of the ministry.
