We are looking for **Event Executive’s (Permanent and 6 month FTC)** to support the planning and delivery of Guardian Live events.
**About the team**
Guardian Live brings you right to the heart of the conversation, with live streamed and in-person events that you can access from wherever you are in the world. Hear from award-winning journalists, novelists, politicians and more, and engage in meaningful discussions about world-changing issues. Previous speakers include: Marina Hyde, John Crace, George Monbiot, Greta Thunberg, Bernardine Evaristo, Margaret Atwood, Steve McQueen, Hillary Clinton and more.
Guardian Live is a dynamic brand which allows readers to go behind the headlines and we want our events to reflect that. We're looking for an events executive to join the team and help us in delivering our programme, from running engaging online events to global audiences to delivering seamless in-person experiences.
**About the Role**
- You’ll deliver Guardian Live online discussions and spoken word events across various topics including politics, books, climate change, culture, film and more.
- Project manage Guardian Live hybrid events and tours from conception to completion including: budget and supplier management, creative concept design, speaker liaising, travel booking, event delivery and post event evaluation.
- Continually identify and review the experience of our event offerings through the customer journey. Ensuring we ask for customer feedback and act on it, giving our audiences a voice.
- Administrative management and support including reporting of ticket and book sales to the suppliers, raising POs and processing invoices and payments.
**About You**
- Project experience with 360 events delivery management
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders across all levels both internally and externally
- Experience performing various administrative duties in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and planning skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- An awareness of the Guardian Live programme, and strong alignment with our values

**Additional Benefits & Policies**
We offer 30 days annual leave per annum, plus an additional 5 day holiday purchase scheme. Our pension scheme is generous; if you contribute 5% then we will contribute 8-12% (depending on your age).
