Front End Developer

£30,000 - £45,000**

**Company**:
Based just to the north of Nottingham you will be joining one of the largest web development companies in the Midlands that utilise the latest technologies to build and service professional, real world marketing and web solutions. They have a large teamof in-house Developers (circa 40) and are looking to recruit a mid-level or senior Front End Developer to add to their friendly Development team. The company is well established, expanding, and a great place to work.

**Role**:
Our client is looking for multiple Front End Developers to join their growing team. As a Front End Developer you will focus on a mixture of frameworks from custom ES6 / Webpack to React and Nextjs. Knowledge or familiarity with.NET Core would be advantageousas their backend services are with.NET. Your main task will be the design and development of ecommerce storefronts.

**What you will be doing**:

- Building and shipping production ready code.
- Building reusable and accessibility compliant components
- Translating designs and wireframes into quality code
- Maintain and improve existing journey
- Manage and maintain existing client codebases and take a lead role in improvements
- Aid in the creation of detailed plans for a project's technical development and give accurate estimates on deliverables.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers

**Skills & Experience**:

- HTML
- CSS and CSS pre-processor like SASS or LESS
- Familiarity with CSS Frameworks such as Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap
- JavaScript, including DOM manipulation
- Experience in building ecommerce websites preferable but not essential
- React and React workflows
- Familiarity with the newer specification of JavaScript (ES6 or newer)
- JSON
- Nextjs, desirable but not essential
- Code versioning tools (git)
- Browser testing and debugging
- Unit testing
- Experience working in an Agile environment
