**Recruitment Specialist**
Animal Trust is a veterinary Community Interest Company founded on the vision to provide all pets with access to good veterinary care. We believe having a pet is something that all people should be able to enjoy, but people earning the Real Living Wage struggle to afford veterinary care when their pet gets sick. For some owners the only option is euthanasia, and we want to provide them with an alternative that they can cope with. Our free consults and straightforward pricing enable our vets and nurses to break down the barriers that stand in the way of pets receiving the treatment they need. We’re one community and we are here for our patients, clients and each other.
Like many other industries, the veterinary industry is facing one of its most difficult challenges in finding highly skilled vets and vet nurses. We have an amazing employment proposition as the leading not-for-profit veterinary group in the UK, and we’re looking for an experienced headhunter to help us ensure the best talent chooses to work for Animal Trust. We’re looking for someone innovative and confident who will develop and implement a strategy to recruit the best vets and nurses to support our rapid growth. There’s a shortage of vets globally, with large numbers of vets leaving the sector and this is an excellent opportunity to take a pivotal role in making us the employer of choice.
**Key responsibilities**
- Partner with the business, HR and knowledgeable top industry sources to identify top companies for talent and maintain a database of people in those companies
- Assisting with recruitment branding across media channels
- Assist with ad-hoc projects in the People team
**Role specifics**
- Salary up to £35K
- Full-time (40 hours) or part-time considered - let's have a chat about what works for you
- Location: Barnsley, Blackburn or Ellesmere Port (hybrid)
- Occasional travel is required though not extensive
**About Animal Trust**

- Animal Trust strives to be an equal opportunities employer. This means that decisions concerning recruitment, promotion, dismissal or any other aspect of employment will be based on the needs of the business and not any assumptions based on sex, race, age, disability, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, married or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, religion or belief. This is an important commitment which all employees are expected to share._
