Axon Moore are partnering with a well-established business in the Middleton/Oldham are who are looking to appoint a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk into the accounts team for a 1-2 month period. The role is based on an out-of-town business park, so driverswill be preferred.
The company are looking to help with the purchase ledger invoices through a busy period of volume. This role supports the team of clerks, reporting into the Finance Manager.
Salary - Up to £28,000 per annum based on an hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:

- Maintaining a clean purchase ledger
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier statements to the ledger supplier invoices with a high level of accuracy
- Resolve supplier queries and invoicing errors in a timely manner
- Other ad-hoc accounting duties as required

Experience and skills:

- Experience in a Purchase Ledger role or similar accounting position
- Experience with Sage 200 accounting software is essential for this role
- A strong work ethic - proactive in your work, showing initiative
- Team player, positive attitude and happy to help the wider team where needed
- Good attention to detail and able to work to a fast pace where necessary
