We are a climate action NGO working to tackle the causes of the climate crisis and fighting to give our planet a sustainable future and we’re looking for a new Executive Assistant to help us achieve our vision.
Working closely with the CEO you’ll provide a high-level of secretarial, administrative and project support duties. You’ll proactively manage the CEO’s and Chair’s diary, manage and organise a variety of events and meetings, prepare meeting papers and act as the first point of contact handling complex and confidential situations and requests. You’ll also co-ordinate Executive team meetings, preparing and circulating agendas, minutes and papers.
You’ll need to be a well-planned and organised individual, who works well under pressure and has the ability to meet continuous deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Being able to work autonomously, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are also key to this role.
- Proven experience of operating as an Executive Assistant at Director level
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, with practical experience of gathering, analysing, collating complex and confidential information (i.e., board papers).
- Proficient in relevant software (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to use own initiative, be proactive and deal with specific queries as they arise.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Significant tact and integrity is required to manage the sensitive nature of information that the role will manage.
You might be pleased to know that we’ve moved to hybrid working here at WRAP. Although this role is contractually based at our Banbury office, in reality you will be able to work from home, with the caveat of coming into the office to collaborate with your teams as and when you need to. You, your manager, and your teams will have the freedom to decide when this will need to happen, but when it is agreed it will be important that you do attend the office. If you are invited for an interview, this can be discussed in more detail.
