An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Assistant to join our Public Health Team. The Public Health Team works to protect the health and wellbeing, and to prevent ill health as part of the Council’s Thrive Strategy. This role will support the wider team as we focus on tackling health inequalities and the social determinants of health across the life course.

You will have experience of undertaking a range of administrative activities, including implementing and maintaining manual and computerised information systems, and using Microsoft office.

You will be responsible for coordinating and updating manual and computerised records to ensure a high level of accuracy is maintained and date and reports are produced as and when required. Therefore, it is essential you have the ability to organise and prioritise your workload to ensure timescales are met.

You will have knowledge of data protection regulations and GCSEs at Grade 4 or above or equivalent, including Maths and English. You will also have effective written and verbal communication skills.
