Sales Ledger Clerk/credit Controller

Waste Management Facilities are a national waste management broker based in Bournemouth, Dorset. We are a family run business established in 2003. We are looking for an office based Sales Ledger Clerk with a focus on Credit Control to join our busy, growing team. Hybrid working is offered following training, based on one day a week from home.
Responsibilities to include:
- Daily banking and receipt allocation, including PDQ transactions
- Raising and sending customer invoices
- Proactively managing the collection of outstanding monies and minimizing the risk of bad debt
- Managing overdue accounts, liaising internally, and escalating issues when required
- Setting up new customer accounts
- Reviewing customer credit accounts
- Issuing customer statements
- Creating direct debit mandates
- Processing the customer direct debit run
- Managing and issuing customer rebates
- Reporting and providing support to the finance director
- Working closely with the sales and customer service departments with regards to any account related enquiries
**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year
