**About the events co-ordinator role**

This year, FoL is delivering an ambitious research programme, with a focus on social value, and how the built environment can contribute to the longer term, positive changes in people’s lives across the urban environment.

To help us deliver this research and events programme, we’re looking for an Events co
- ordinator for 10 weeks, from the beginning of May 2023.

Research and events co-ordinator job description

**Key responsibilities**:
**Events - with a focus on our annual conference on 4 July**
- On the day: helping the team with room/technical set up, staffing registration desks/monitoring registration questions, answering questions from delegates, taking photos/screenshots and notes.

**Other duties (tasks will vary, but could include)**:

- Analysing data gathered through FoL’s network.
- Writing up these findings into case studies, which have the potential to be used as blog posts and/or published in our project report.
- Supporting the team in developing creative and innovative ways to communicate our research findings.
- Transcribing event recordings and adding subtitles to videos before they’re published.
- Ad hoc administration as required

**Person specification**
**Required experience**
- Excellent organisational skills and time management, particularly if having to work remotely
- Event organisation experience
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to interact comfortably with clients, including senior executives
- Able to work flexibly, independently or in a small team - and to deadlines
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Intuition and creativity
- Interest in London’s built environment

**Desirable experience**
- Strong working knowledge of social media
- Ideally some audio recording/production experience
- Adobe Suite
