**Location: Hybrid and flexible working with Main Office at The Wolseley Centre, ST17 0WT. Frequent travel to Tamworth**

**21 hours/week. Job share welcomed. Fixed term contract until 31st August 2025**

**Weekdays (expected to work some evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays)**

**£22,787 per annum pro-rata**

We are currently seeking someone who can work in partnership with Tamworth Borough Council and local communities to improve the borough’s wild spaces and to increase community participation and understanding of wildlife.

As our Wilder Communities Officer, you will develop good working relationships with partners and volunteers, as well as members of the public, including young people, children and families. You will be approachable and practical, someone who is excited to get out into the community to talk to people and get hands on with practical projects, including citizen science.

The Wild about Tamworth project is in its 20th year and works with arrange of communities to manage Local Nature Reserves and promote taking action for nature. The project connects people to nature and their local wildspaces and ignites a passion for wildlife.

A passionate communicator, you will connect to people across the whole community and will develop relationships with individuals, groups, communities and partners in the project.
