**Job summary**:
The DSEME mission is to train and educate electronic, mechanical and specialist tradesmen, technical leaders and engineering managers to meet the requirements of Defence and needs of trainees now and into the future.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:

- The BSU (Base Support Unit) Equipment Operations Officer (EOO) is to act as the establishment Defence Transport Manager in controlling and co-ordinating the resources, vehicles, equipment and manage any infrastructure required to provide all Motor Transport functions to MOD Lyneham. They will also as the MOD Lyneham Road Safety Advisor, Unit Collision Procedures Manager and Driving Permit Officer. The EOO will advise and support all occupants of MOD Lyneham on all transport matters/issues.**Person specification**:
Essential

Previous Motor Transport (MT), fleet management, logistics or heavy haulage industry experience.

Full UK driving licence

Desirable

Previous employment as an Equipment Operations Officer or Defence Transport Manager (DTM).

Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) driving licence
