**Job Title**:Accounts Administrator

**Location**: Warrington (WA1) - 15-minute walk from Warrington Train Station

**Working Hours**:Hybrid/Flexible working - 37.5 hours a week

Brookson are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join the Accountancy Services team at the office in Warrington. This role is known internally as Accounts Technician.

**What will you be doing as an Accounts Administrator?**
- Process all customer invoice requests accurately and within agreed timescales
- Maintain electronic and manual records in line with business procedures and statutory requirements daily
- Calculate and reconcile unpaid VAT
- Process customer bank statements and credit card statements accurately and within agreed timescales
- Review any non-balancing accounts and ensure that appropriate amendments are made
- Where appropriate provide advice in line with the Expense Guideline policy to customers
- Resolve and reconcile any Expenses or P11D related queries within agreed timescales
- Maintain electronic and manual records in line with business procedures and statutory requirements

**What are we looking for in an Accounts Administrator?**
- Essential Experience and Qualifications_
- A high standard of verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience of high-volume data entry
- Strong experience of Microsoft Office packages
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Level C or above in GCSE Maths and English
- Desirable Experience and Qualifications_
- Experience working in a finance industry
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines/timescales
- Working towards an AAT qualification
