**Key Deliverables**
- Undertake preventative planned maintenance activities
- Undertake corrective works including assistance with internal projects
- Respond to breakdowns and work with operations to ensure that maintenance and corrective works are completed safely and in a timely manner
- Support the effective deployment of company-wide policies, processes, systems and procedures ensuring that at all times the business remains compliant
- Produce accurate post-maintenance records in a timely manner.
- Assist with ongoing reviews of Facility maintenance documentation.
- Assist with the supervision of contractor activities within the facilities.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Time served mechanical apprenticeship - desirable
- Appropriate technical qualifications e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ level 3 - desirable
- Experience of machine shop practices, pressure systems and general plant maintenance activities -desirable
- An awareness of safe working practices - essential
- Able to use protective clothing and equipment - essential
- Experience in other trades eg fabrication - desirable
- Experience of general maintenance within a nuclear environment - desirable
- Experience of using quality documentation, work instructions and risk assessments - desirable
- Experience of interpreting technical drawings - desirable

Please be aware this role holder requires security clearance, or the ability to obtain said clearance.

There is a requirement to live within a commutable distance to the sites where the role is based. For central/multi-site roles, we have various hubs across the UK and can be flexible with base location.
