As a Head of Design and UX supporting our Business Unit's, you'll lead the design team to deliver customer centric healthcare solutions for our customers. You'll partner with Product, Marketing and Technology teams to launch solutions that balance commercial, user and technical goals and priorities.

We are searching for an experienced, results orientated leader to drive the strategic direction and execution of design across the business.

**How you'll help us make health happen**
- Being accountable from a design perspective for delivering premium connected care products which make a difference to our customers lives.
- Collaborating with Product, Marketing and Technology to balance cost effective delivery with exceptional design and customer experiences.
- Understanding the needs of business areas and stakeholders to plan the structure, workflow and resourcing of multiple squads.
- Responsibility for proving the ROI of design - setting the right metrics and KPI's to measure our impact and value.
- Chioning the adoption and development of the Design System and embed its implementation into the way we work.
- Identifying opportunities for design and process improvements and driving their implementation.
- Using data and insights to inform design decisions and enhancing the user experience.
- Educating others on the benefits of Design and UX
- Leading 25+ designers across multiple disciplines, driving the vision and strategy for the evolution of the design team's structure.
- Bringing people together to encourage design as an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving.

**Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role**:

- Proven experience as a Head of Design and UX or similar design leadership role.
- Highly experienced in user centric design, market trends and competitor insights
- A track record of delivering digital products which have positively impacted customer's lives.
- A track record of growing design maturity within complex environments.
- An experienced ally to product, technology and business leaders to build teams and processes.
- Experience of leading and delivering across cross functional teams in an agile delivery environment
- A background of applied contribution to UX practice.
- Experience of working with in house and external third-party teams, both onshore and offshore.
- Data and insight driven approach.
- Excellent storyteller and thought leader.
- A commercially savvy influencer, great negotiator with sound consulting skills.
- Authenticity and inspiring leadership skills with a passion for coaching and mentoring others.
