The Market Insights Specialist is a key and new marketing position which will help drive development activities and decisions for many stakeholders. Responsible for providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimise marketing campaigns, sales activity, and customer journeys.

**What will be your key responsibilities?**:

- To extract information from the customer database in order to produce meaningful reports that can be supplied to departmental heads for prospecting and ensuring customer interactions are logged and followed up
- To develop, implement and make effective use of the CRM to support the communications journey from enquiry to booking
- Develop and publish a continuous stream of insights & findings relating to the shopper, category, competitor and consumer
- Manage data within the CRM system to ensure that it is effectively used as a marketing asset, providing analysis and reports to support wider communications activities
- Develop online and offline data capture forms for use in marketing activities
- Monitoring customer data inputs (refining data collection processes and standards where required) to ensure customer records are accurate and comprehensive
- Carrying out regular database cleansing and maintain GDPR compliance
- Coordinate system generated communications
- Data and insight teams dealing with customer insight, reporting and trading based insights as well as planning
- Translate retailer & shopper insights into actionable business opportunities. Continually evaluate and make recommendations regarding additional data requirements.
- Manage research to help develop insights that can be used to optimize the offering and profitability
- Align on implementation to understand ROI. Work collaboratively on any learnings and ensure any recommendations are communicated (internally/externally) and challenge for future implementation

**What competencies we are looking for?**:

- At least 2 years' experience in data/customer/marketing insight and analysis
- Experience of producing reports from complex data using T-SQL
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience of designing reports for the end user using front end software such as Power BI or similar
- Excellent communication and data presentation skills
- Decisive and accurate with ability to take a lead role in tasks
- To be positive and confident in what we think, say and do
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and quality
- Proactive with the ability to take initiative
- Strong desire for personal development
- Representing the company with a professional, helpful, knowledgeable, proactive attitude
