Purchasing Assistant

We are a small hard-working team in Ipswich offering our varied UK & International clients with solutions to their water extraction, treatment, and control challenges. We provide high quality water products with ongoing professional support. The role is office based and we are looking for someone to support our design engineer, our buyer and our IT manager.
- Assist the team with producing quotes for clients
- Maintain/ Produce Bills of Material for custom builds & projects.
- Support the team in the management of warranties and product failure investigations.
- Assist the buyer in placing orders and with stock management.
- Assist the IT manager with updating website information.
- IT skills to a high standard to include: Publisher, Word, Excel, Database Management.
- An understanding of commercial costs and pricing.
- Have a methodical, meticulous and adaptable approach.
- Have the ability to produce clear and precise records
- Be organised & adaptable.
- Have willingness to be involved with the whole team and support as required.
- Have excellent attention to detail and a thorough approach.
- Good communication skills and friendly manner.
- Calm and personable.
- Be enthusiastic and have an enquiring mind.
- Work in a tidy and logical manner.
- Ability to switch into the different roles with ease.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £20,408.29-£26,246.25 per year
