The post holder will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the progress of QI projects through the QI Project Registry. As part of the QI team, the post holder will be expected to champion quality improvement through engaging with and motivating colleagues to generate and implement ideas to nurture a culture of quality improvement. Responsibility to support patient care through improving the quality of services and operational efficiency. To identify improvement opportunities and make the changes necessary, working with colleagues to improve our services.

The post holder will provide administrative duties for the Deputy Director, providing absence cover for the PA supporting the Group Chief Strategy Officer. Main Responsibilities 1.1 To provide high level administrative support to the QI and Sustainability teams, including diary management, arranging meetings, workshops and event management minute and action note taking. 1.2 To support the QI team where appropriate with quality improvement projects including but not limited to process mapping sessions and away days. 1.3 Support the QI Training Lead with collation of training log, booking of external venues, management of training material stock and distribution of certificates following training completion for QSIR training programme.

1.4 Assist the Sustainability team in the implementation and administration of the Trust Sustainable initiatives. 1.5 Ensure that the Sustainability initiatives tracker is up to date and maintain the Sustainability Sharepoint portal 1.6 Ordering items for the teams using Eproc ordering system. 1.7 Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports and greener NHS data collection 1.8 Daily management of QI inbox referring enquiries to appropriate QI programme partner and/or deal with queries directly. 1.9 To source, collate and report monthly benchmarking data for QI board report.

1.10 Management of the QI teams intranet page, regularly amending links and documents from NHSE and updating training materials to ensure accurate and up to date information. 1.11 To undertake minuting of regular Sustainability meetings and task and finish groups where appropriate, retrieval of comments following agreed actions and circulation of these comments prior to meetings. 1.12 Provide PA support to Head of Sustainability in a host of ad-hoc tasks including diary management and liaising with external parties. 1.13 Be responsible for the administration of the Improvement & Research Group (sub-committee of the Board) arranging and supporting meetings, assisting in the preparatory work including compilation of agendas, collation of supporting documentation using IBABS, equipment and room bookings, production of action notes.

1.14 Organise project and training workshops required by the team, in respect of booking arrangements, documentation, facilities and attendees. 1.15 Support the team in providing external and internal communication to all parties, bringing relevant issues to the attention of the team for decision making. 1.16 To support the QI and Sustainability teams with progress reports by being the point of contact for chasing and collating. 1.17 Complete sickness management, procurement, and recruitment administration process for the QI and Sustainability teams.

1.18 To provide administrative support cover (in times of absence) for the PA to the Group Chief Strategy Officer. 1.19 Provide support to surveys, audits, observational studies during project delivery and after project completion to ensure learning is taken forward and benefits realisation is achieved. 1.20 Contribute to progress reports and formal presentations for submission to Improvement and Research Group, Executive Boards, governing bodies and other key stakeholders as required. 1.21 Develop effective working relationships with key external stakeholders where appropriate.

1.22 Demonstrate high level of computer-literacy including creation and use of spreadsheets, databases, charts, reports and data analysis in formats that will enable informed decision-making, working with a high degree of accuracy. 1.23 Responsible for maintaining the QI Project Registry database, compiling reports and data as required. 1.24 Managing ESR (HR system) as required, on behalf of the teams. 2.1 Organise and prioritise own workload within agreed objectives deciding when to refer to others as appropriate.

2.2 Participate in the Trusts appraisal system, matching organisational aims with individual objectives and undertaking appropriate training as required. 2.3 Takes responsibility for their own and others Health and Safety in the working environment. 2.4 To develop, implement and update local office procedures/processes. 2.5 Complies with the policies and procedures of the Trust.
