The Quality Engineer will be responsible for all quality engineering activities to support production along with the following activities:
*Carry out Problem Solving using the 8D process.
*Monitor Quality for the customer on a weekly basis
*Develop quality control plans and work instructions for all components
*Conduct Quality Audits for both product and process.
*Ensure containment activities are initiated.
*Implement Continuous Improvement activities to reduce costs and improve quality
* Update PFMEA’s
Ideally, candidates will have a background in automotive engineering and be either HNC/HND qualified.
Candidates should be able to communicate effectively at all levels and in particular with the customer, whilst being able to make important decisions in a fast paced automotive environment.
