Our client is a very successful, independent UK-based company dedicated to producing products that excite, bring fun into people’s lives whilst being inclusive and accessible to all.

They are seeking a talented **Marketing Designer** to join their team on a hybrid working, full-time basis. As a Marketing Designer, you will demonstrate solid graphic design skills and the ability to create engaging static and dynamic content for various marketing needs.

Working closely with internal teams and based in the design studio, you will serve as a brand ambassador, effectively communicating and engaging with the brand through a range of media and platforms. Your responsibilities will involve designing print collateral, on-brand digital assets, stand designs, and other marketing materials related to their products. Additionally, there will be opportunities to collaborate with the wider design and product teams, participating in trying out new products, and brainstorming sessions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Designing and maintaining the company website**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop a visually captivating and user-friendly company website that aligns with the brand identity.
- Ensure seamless navigation, mobile responsiveness, and optimal user experience by implementing effective UX/UI design principles and best practices.

**Creating visually appealing website banners**:

- Conceptualise and design captivating website banners that effectively convey key messages, promotions, or featured products/services.
- Utilise creative graphics, typography, and colour schemes to create visually engaging banners that capture users’ attention and enhance the overall website aesthetics.

**Editing photos to enhance visual appeal**:

- Utilise photo editing software (e.g. Photoshop) to enhance the visual appeal and quality of product photos, event images, and other visual assets.

**Crafting engaging social media posts**:

- Develop visually appealing and engaging graphics, images, or videos for social media platforms to effectively convey brand messages and engage the target audience.
- Create content that aligns with the brand’s tone and voice, utilising creative visuals, concise copy, and relevant hashtags to maximise reach and user interaction.

**Creating catalogues to showcase products**:

- Design visually captivating catalogues that showcase the company’s products/services, incorporating appealing layouts, high-quality product images, and clear product descriptions.
- Ensure consistent branding, visually pleasing typography, and intuitive organisation of content to provide an enjoyable browsing experience for customers.

**Designing advertisements**:

- Develop creative and visually impactful advertisements for various media channels, such as print, online platforms, and outdoor displays.
- Combine captivating visuals, compelling copy, and strategic placement to create advertisements that effectively grab attention, generate interest, and drive desired actions.

**Developing graphics for exhibition stands**:

- Design eye-catching graphics and signage for exhibition stands, considering size, visibility, and brand guidelines.
- Utilise creative design elements, brand imagery, and impactful visuals to create exhibition graphics that attract and engage attendees, effectively communicating the brand’s message and offerings.

**Requirements**:

- A degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design
- 1-3 years of experience in agency or in-house design
- A portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of style guides and brand guidelines
- Proficiency in creating print-ready files for both traditional and digital outputs
- Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects (even if at a basic level)
- Experience in designing social media advertising campaigns and editing photos and videos
- Ability to create engaging content across multiple platforms
- Proactive approach in championing ideas and effectively communicating and persuading others about creative concepts
