**Location - Holborn (London) or Ansty (Coventry) & Home**

The Brand Ambassador will work with both Argos and their brand to deliver best in class product content to customers across all Argos channels. Using your awareness of Argos’ category strategy to brief, create and deliver this content on time and in full, influencing the brands production processes to do so. As a Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for co-ordination and delivery of the Brand’s promotional and marketing campaigns at Argos, identifying key Argos initiatives and new functionality for the Brand to utilise and support in delivering these initiatives.

**What you need to do**:

- Product Range Expert: Maintain product expertise for all the brand’s items on sale or due to be sold at Argos
- Responsible for driving continuous improvement to the range and ensuring on-time launch of product that are fully adherent to content strategy
- Branding: Ensuring the consistency and performance of online brand store
- Promotional Hot Deals Plan: Ensuring execution is line with plan and executed as agreed with commercial team
- Data: regular reporting on weekly sales data and site analytics (traffic, conversion, AOV)
- Work with the Argos category teams to maintain deep awareness of the category strategy and produce best in class content for the brand in accordance with this strategy
- Responsible for the provision of accurate data on time in full and by extension the timely launch of all the brands lines onto Argos channels
- To report on Brand performance, opportunities and improvement progress to senior brand management and Argos management teams
- To produce and deliver brand specific development roadmaps for the continuous improvement of their Trade Marketing, Content and production processes in context of Argos strategy
- Work with the Product Information, Trading and Category teams to share in best practice and approaches developed through the Brand Ambassador’s focus and investment on specific lines

**What you need to know and show**:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication as well as ability to influence at all levels is essential
- High level of commercial acumen or experience in a commercial background is essential
- Background (academic or practical) in Marketing is desirable
- Strong self-starter mentality
- Maintain a wide network and trusting relationships with relevant stakeholders across the business
- Familiarity with an array of digital marketing tools
- Deep category knowledge is desirable though this can be developed in role
- In-depth product knowledge must be maintained at all times
- Maintained awareness of customer shopping habits and needs for your category
- Understanding of good, better, best and where the brand’s products sit within that hierarchy from both and Argos and wider Market context
- Exceptional diligence

**What decisions I can make including budget**:

- The Brand Ambassador will be indirectly responsible for the allocation of the Brand’s variable marketing budget and allocation of resource through their recommendations and strategic roadmaps, directly influencing what content or features get invested in.
