**Mechanical Design Engineer**
**The Opportunity**:
A superb opportunity for a **Graduate** or **Trainee Mechanical Design Engineer**to join a very innovative Research & Development team in an Exeter engineering firm. You will be responsible for the design of new products working across all aspects of new **product design** as well as existing product drawing support. If you are looking to establish your career as a **Mechanical Design Engineer** and have ideally used **SolidWorks** before, this could be the dream first job for you

**Responsibilities**:

- You will work on new ideas and concepts to produce a highly decorative product whilst using your SolidWorks CAD design skills on a daily basis. Working within the R&D function, within a busy fabrication engineering company.
- Ability to communicate and liaise with all internal departments (design, production engineering, production and purchasing) as well as external suppliers both in the UK and abroad.

**Preferred Skills**:

- A keen desire to build a career within Product Design and Development essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to be innovative and creative within a regulated engineering environment.
