Our new Divisional structure has been split into five core areas, all focused on the delivery of key strategic priorities. The areas of the team include Evidence and Evaluation; Academic Engagement and Internal Community; Educational Partnerships; Sustained Engagement and Access and Student Success.

**Sustained Engagement**
The roles in this area will focus on the delivery of our longer-term programmes, including Realising Opportunities, the Pathways to Professions programmes, the Sutton Trust Summer School and UniTracks.

**Educational Partnerships**
The remit of this role will be to develop our key WP partnerships, including with schools, colleges and third sector organisations such as IntoUniversity and the Brilliant Club.

We are looking for highly motivated and organised individuals, with an understanding of the challenges and barriers faced by students from widening participation backgrounds. You will have experience of planning and co-ordinating interventions and will be comfortable communicating with a variety of stakeholders. You will need to have a strong collegiate approach and be an effective team player. Warwick operates hybrid working, with office days being led by operational need.

**JOB PURPOSE**

To support the implementation of the University’s Widening Participation strategy and the advancement of Warwick’s Access and Participation Plan by developing and supporting effective and evidence based widening participation activity. The role will be pivotal in the development of new provision enhancing the University’s commitments to widening participation and social mobility.
The post-holder will contribute to delivering and supporting widening participation work to help the University achieve its Widening Participation goals, providing support and acting as a key point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers, and members of university staff across academic and professional services roles They will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver highly focused and inspirational provision as part of the University’s Widening Participation offer.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Project coordination and delivery**
- Develop, co-ordinate and deliver widening participation activities, including on-campus events, residential activity and presentations and workshops in schools, communicating key messages about progression to higher education to targeted groups and their key influencers (parents, carers, teachers etc).
- Provide administrative support for the delivery of activity across the student lifecycle
- Manage the recruitment, selection and ongoing training and development of student ambassadors and mentors.
- Represent the university at school events, such as careers fairs and information evenings.
- Design, deliver and facilitate bespoke workshops and presentations in collaboration with schools to engage with young people and their parents/carers.
- Work with colleagues to develop robust evaluation approaches relevant to the focus of activity including implementing recommendations for enhancement
- Develop and maintain accurate records and appropriate data to support effective targeting, monitoring and evaluation.
- Support with the planning and organising of training and development for current students.
- Work with colleagues in the Widening Participation team to identify opportunities for new areas of activity and to take a lead in the delivery of new areas of activity where appropriate.

**Stakeholder Engagement**
- Build and maintain proactive relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders, including schools, teachers, parents, industry professionals, as well as colleagues from academic departments and other service departments across the University.
- Promote best practice widening participation and social mobility work and report on these through internal and external communication channels.
- Support the development and implementation of a communication strategy which fosters effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including learners, teachers and academic and administrative departments across the University.
