The Marketing department is in the process of evolving and developing to drive business growth and revenue over the coming years. The aim is to create a best-in-class marketing function which enables Investec to be a clear market leader in the wealth management field and build and drive a marketing strategy which separates us from our key competitors.

**What will my role entail?**

This is a key delivery role within the Wealth Regional Marketing team assisting the Senior Marketing Manager with planning, developing and executing effective multi-channel marketing campaigns that line up to our overall regional marketing plan. As part of a small but successful and busy team, you will need a positive can-do attitude towards tasks and be able to deliver and work effectively in under pressure.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supporting the Senior Marketing Manager to plan and deliver key marketing activity for the offices in the Scotland and Northern Ireland, focused on Belfast, but including Edinburgh and Glasgow.
- Build strong, effective and collaborative internal relationships within the regional team in wealth and wider marketing teams across the group, to ensure we bring the best of Investec to all our clients and prospects.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders within the region to help effectively deliver on campaigns and tasks.
- Using data excursion insights to inform creative campaigns and marketing action to more effectively target key audience segments, as well as, engage and grow our current client base. Support the Senior Marketing Manager in creating, developing campaigns to effectively achieve this.
- Write briefs for agencies and liaise with external suppliers to effectively deliver on key marketing activations and partnerships, ensuring the highest quality is always delivered.
- Assist with drafting, proof-reading and editing content in line with our tone of voice for regional marketing action, including collateral, client communications and working alongside stakeholders to develop local content pieces to be leveraged across all channels, including social media.
- Help to measure and report on the commercial value of all marketing campaigns undertaken for the region.
- Work effectively within a budget to activate campaigns.
- Producing ongoing competitor analysis, focusing particularly on value propositions, market positioning, messaging and marketing activity within the region.
**Event & Sponsorship base**:
Supporting with the planning and delivery of our regional events and sponsorships within the Scottish and Northern Irish region, which will be a combination of both virtual and physical activity.

Support the delivery of end-to-end event logistics.
Support the Senior Marketing Manager with budget forecasting and reconciliation, invoicing and cost negotiation.

Supplier and hospitality engagement.
Help ensure all Health & Safety, risk assessment and event contracts are completed for all events and data complies with GDPR.

Support the management of ROI for all event programmes, linked into the wider IWI reporting strategy programme.

**Data Capture**

Own data lists and data capture to ensure ability for Marketing to engage in long term communications with prospects and clients.

**Technical Experience**:
Do you have proven experience in inputting and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns?
Do you have the ability to evaluate and provide objective feedback on concepts and creative execution?
Can you demonstrate superb project management and organisational skills?
Do you strong attention to detail?
Do you have experience of managing and executing events and sponsorship programmes?
Do you have knowledge of importance of brand guidelines and consistency with events and sponsorship activation?
Ability to work collaboratively to initiate wider sponsorship group assets.

CIM/IDM Diploma /Certificate in Digital Marketing (helpful but not essential)
