**About us**
The Vale of Glamorgan is recruiting to a permanent Contracts Admin Assistant post in the Contracts Team, a key function within Social Services. The Directorate has a wide range of statutory duties and responsibilities around protecting and supporting vulnerable children and adults.

**About the role**
Pay Details: Grade 4, SCP 5 - 7, £21,575 - £22,369

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 hours

Main Place of Work: Dock Offices

Temporary Reason: n/a

**Description**: To provide administrative support to the Contracts Team within Social Services. Duties include collating and maintaining provider information, annual provider audits, processing of invoices, keeping financial records, setting up meetings and taking minutes.

**About you**
You will need:

- 1 years’ experience in a Social Care environment
- Experience of working sensitively with individuals and different representative agencies
- Experience of the use of Microsoft packages including databases and spreadsheets
- Experience of collating and producing information reports
- Experience of working within Vale of Glamorgan Council systems
- Knowledge of Social Care services
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to work accurately
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Analytical skills
- 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C or above, or vocational skills with demonstrable experience
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Problem solving approach
- Ability to work flexibly and manage change
- Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations as appropriate
