**Recruiter (Fixed-term until the end of January 2024)**
**About the role**
This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and organised Recruiter with excellent communication skills to join the People team. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for attracting and recruiting the best talent to the business and building an ongoing comprehensive talent pipeline. You will also be required to be a hands-on support to Hiring Recruiting Managers in end-to-end recruitment processes, with a particular focus on Operations recruitment, where you will frequently visit the Depots to lead on their recruitment processes.
**What you will do**:
- Delivery of best-in-class internal service delivery to our recruiting managers and supporting the Depots at each site frequently to improve and move forward recruitment delivery
- Maintain the applicant tracking system (Logicmelon) and advertise all vacancies internally and externally
- Manage the full recruitment process for Operations roles, focussing on Operatives and Drivers
- Work towards and hit targets on recruitment KPIs for the processes (e.g. cost of recruitment, time to hire etc), set goals with the recruiting manager and deliver improvement.
- Work closely with the HR Business Partner to determine and implement the recruitment strategy to ensure the company attracts and retains the most talented individuals.
- Act as the lead for Wellocks on social media channels from a recruitment and EVP perspective, suggesting and implementing innovative routes to market for our vacancies in order to attract key talent.
- Represent the company at career fairs and arrange co-ordination of Wellocks attendees.
**What you will need**:
- Previous experience in a Recruitment Department or function
- Experience in using social media and other external advertising
- Ability to establish and maintain sound working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Flexibility to travel across multiple UK sites
- Able to work in a high volume, high output environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others
