The Opportunity

The People Business Partner is a permanent position offering a salary between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum with an up to 10% bonus, with flexible working from home and 2 days a week in the Hertford office.

The Role

Our People Business Partners work alongside the Head of HR & Client Development Directors to drive & implement a comprehensive and commercially focused people plan within assigned business areas. Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders withinthe organisation, partnering with field teams to understand their strategic initiatives and impact on people activity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support operational management teams in the identification and planning of the employee development interventions, to grow talent and achieve client/business objectives
- Analyse and identify the current and future requirements of workforce knowledge, skills, and experience to aid workforce planning to achieve strategic objectives.
- Support talent and succession planning activities and upskilling across the business, including the delivery of local talent plans
- Input into the design and shaping of development initiatives that build skills, enhance leadership capability, and provide personal development opportunities
- Work collaboratively with CSD’S and operational management teams on strategic resource planning to ensure the right resource levels and skill sets are in place
- Guiding the field management teams through business change including restructures, contract variations, TUPE etc. taking responsibility for providing solutions and identifying the most effective of achieving the commercial objectives.
- Leading the management of high-risk complex employee relations matters, providing technical guidance, and coaching to line managers and the HR advisory team.
- Coaching, developing, and supporting managers in all aspects of people management whilst also working with senior management team and their direct reports to develop team leadership capability.
- Attendance at management and client meetings ensuring constant alignment of HR activity against the business priorities; ensuring performance against KPIs and client satisfaction is always maintained
- Liaising closely with external stakeholders to understand the challenges and requirements and develop solutions in line with this.
