**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Answer and direct incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, manage company calendars, and ensure optimal time management.
- Take a proactive role in the recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, conducting interviews, and on boarding new staff members.
- Track payments and follow up on outstanding debts to ensure accurate financial records.
- Manage invoicing.
- Oversee bookkeeping tasks to support financial reporting.
- Handle payroll responsibilities.
- Maintain up-to-date and organised staff documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Regularly update the company website to reflect current offerings and information.
- Organise and coordinate company events, fostering team spirit and engagement.
- Prepare professional correspondence for schools and parents, ensuring clear and effective communication..
- Monitor staff performance and attendance, implementing necessary actions to maintain high standards.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Proven experience in administration roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Understanding of financial processes, including invoicing, bookkeeping, and payroll.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the education or childcare sector is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and promoting their growth and development.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred but not required).
**Salary**: From £20,000.00 per year
