**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordination of repairs and preventative maintenance for scientific community using both internal and external engineer resource
- Act as a single point of contact and host for all visiting engineers ensuring compliance to both PerkinElmer and client procedures
- Act as the first line triage/response for equipment repairs and support scientific team with equipment setup
- Liaise between external supply partners and internal customers to qualify repair requirements with aim of achieving a right first-time approach.
- Ensure all materials required for internal and external work are managed and available to ensure planned work can proceed without delay
- Input all required data into client asset and compliance databases accurately ensuring a clear asset history and data integrity
- Ensure complete adherence to PerkinElmer and client Health and Safety processes
- Identify and report any observed areas of continuous improvement including sustainability initiatives
- Provide clear communication to client user group working closely with our existing Laboratory support team

**Requirements**:

- 2+ year experience working as a planner/coordinator ideally in a pharmaceutical or scientific environment
- Robust and assertive attitude towards achieving results and problem solving in the laboratory environment
- Experience of working in a fast paced, operational or similar environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- PC literate in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

**Desirable**:

- Pharmaceutical / Regulated laboratory working background
- Practical experience of preparation and setup of laboratory equipment.
- Experience of SAP PM or similar Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
