Sales Consultant

**Main purpose of role**:
**Key accountabilities**:
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, using services like LinkedIn and Google to build a sales self-managed pipeline.
- Develop a good understanding of the telecommunications market, the competitive landscape and our products and services offering
- Achieve a range of key performance indicators month on month including, but not limited to, completion of open tasks, calls made, average talk time and successful meetings generated
- Track all activity in the CRM system following the processes outlined
- Learn and utilise the sales methodologies used by Pastel to accurately qualify opportunities
- Develop a good understanding of target vertical markets, common pain points and Pastel’s value proposition
- Undertake regular training and coaching sessions as and when required
**Person requirements**:
- Sales skills
- Confidence talking to new people, with a strong desire to compete and succeed is key
- Good listener and communicator, fluent in English and able to deal with people at all levels of business and with people of varying technical capability
- Capability of understanding customer pain points and requirements

- A strong drive for sales and a self-starter attitude
- Resilient and responsive to change, operating within a fast-paced business telecommunications environment
- Demonstrates a continuous willingness to learn and develop oneself
- Positive attitude with a diplomatic approach to working with other teams
- Flexible, able to fit in with business needs around core opening hours
- Demonstrable ability to take ownership and manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
