We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our FE College as a Pastoral Support Team Officer.

**You will be**:

- An adaptable and caring professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality pastoral and behavioural support
- Confident working independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Able to multi-task and prioritise own workload
- A strong communicator, able to communicate professionally with colleagues and external teams
- Experienced working in the fields of learning disability / complex needs
- Analytical with excellent observational skills
- A track record of using behavioural data to help develop tailored support plans

Livability Nash College is a specialist FE setting, based in Bromley, providing support for students aged 19-25 with profound to moderate learning disabilities and associated complex needs.

**We can offer you**:

- An exciting opportunity to assist in developing the college’s practice and policy around behavioural management and pastoral support.
- A chance to deepen and demonstrate your understanding of working in an educational setting where you will be able to work closely with students for the duration of their time at college (mostly 3 years), having an impact on their safety, wellbeing, learning outcomes and future destinations.
- The opportunity to work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to provide specialist advice, guidance and bespoke behavioural and pastoral interventions to support students with highly specialist needs.
- The opportunity to utilise your strong observational and analytical skills to identify ‘hot spots’ in behavioural and pastoral data and draw on analysis to implement solutions and support plans.

Livability Nash College is an independent specialist further education college for disabled people aged 19-25.

Based in Hayes, Bromley, the college caters for a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including physical, communication and sensory disabilities, medical conditions or autism, in addition to learning disabilities, from severe to profound.

Our approach places a particular emphasis on ‘Learning Through Living’ - personalised learning, facilitating a range of communication needs, and supporting students in the community and with future vocational opportunities. The Course title is ‘Skills for Adult Life’ and runs for three years with an optional fourth year.

Nash college offers a four strand provision that is personalised for each student using a content and context that is tailored to personal interests and abilities. Where accreditation is thought to be suitable, courses are selected based on impact, on EHCP outcomes and the provision of education at a level than ensures progression from previous learning for each student.
