We are seeking a Wellbeing Worker to join our Northumberland Sensory Services to provide high quality support to our service users who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Visually Impaired, Deafblind, and 16+ and live within the area of Northumberland.. The role is based in the community and occasionally office based (Morpeth).

**As part of the Wellbeing Worker role, you will**:

- Offering information, advice, and guidance on a range of topics using appropriate communication methods
- Provide information on specialist equipment’s and their use
- Dealing with referrals
- Promoting independent living by advising and signposting to services
- Undertaking assessments, support plans and Risk Assessments
- Working with third party agencies

**To be successful in the role you will have**:

- Experience in Working with people with a sensory disabilities (Deaf, Hard of Hearing ,Deafblind, Sight Loss)
- British Sign Language Level 3 (or working towards) or native signer.
- Experience in undertaking needs-led assessments
- Experience in providing Information, Advice and Guidance
- Strong IT skills
