Key Responsibilities:

  • As a PPA teacher in a primary school, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, ensuring continuity in learning for students.
  • You will be expected to follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans, adapting them as needed to meet the needs of individual students and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • PPA teachers must maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior, communicate effectively with colleagues and parents, and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a variety of age groups and subjects, gaining valuable experience and making a positive impact on the education of young learners

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area (PGCE or equivalent preferred).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in the process of obtaining QTS.
  • Experience working with young children in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working with children and dedication to fostering their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to a supportive school community.
