**About the role**:
The hours for this role are 9:00am - 3:15pm term time only.

Situated in Gloucester, this school offers a broad range of learning activities as well as individualised activities to support the education and wellbeing of each pupil. Students will have a range of Special Educational Needs that require a patient, nurturing Individual to support them.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant you will:

- Be compassionate, understanding and caring.
- Be flexible, proactive and a team player.
- Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people.
- Be able to demonstrate at interview the reasons why you want to start a career in education, and explain your understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant and the important part they play in the school community.
- Understand the crucial importance of keeping children and young people safe.
- Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.
