As we embark on this culinary journey, we are seeking a warm and welcoming Hostess to join our team and create memorable first impressions for our guests.

**Job Summary**: As a Hostess, you will be the face of our café, providing a friendly and hospitable welcome to all guests. Your primary responsibility will be to greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and ensure the smooth flow of operations in the dining area. With your positive attitude and excellent customer service skills, you will contribute to the overall success of our café.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting guests as they arrive at the café with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Managing guest reservations, including taking bookings, confirming reservations, and organizing seating arrangements.
- Escorting guests to their tables and ensuring they are seated promptly and comfortably.
- Providing guests with menus and informing them of daily specials or promotions.
- Assisting with coat check services and attending to guests' needs during their visit.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the host stand and lobby area.
- Answering phone calls, taking messages, and handling inquiries with professionalism.
- Collaborating with the waitstaff and management team to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitoring dining room occupancy and managing waitlists during peak hours.
- Assisting in managing guest flow and optimizing seating to maximize occupancy while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably as a Hostess or in a similar position.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of reservation management systems and basic computer skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
