**Are you able to support children who have suffered psychological difficulties and complex life experiences?**

**This role will be offered as a contract to March 2024. The role is part-time (30 hours per week) and the actual salary for part-time working is £21,942 per annum.**

In this rewarding role, you will undertake work with children and young adolescents suffering from a range of psychological difficulties and complex life experiences - including for example anxiety, ADHD, experiences of abuse, grief, family breakdown, domestic abuse and trauma.

As a professionally trained Play Therapist, you'll work to help children gain insight and understanding of their experiences, increase emotional resilience and develop coping strategies whilst decreasing problematic behaviours and internalised conflicts. You will work closely with referrers, children/adolescents, and their parents/carers.
