**PURPOSE**

The purpose of the mechanical test facility in our fabrication dept is to carry out various pressure test operations to ensure a high standard of product control after manufacture and before final control approval, working to the highest of standards of satisfaction for our prestigious motorsport and automotive client base.

**DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**Health & Safety**
- Ensure compliance with all WHS policies as outlined in the HR Manual and Employment Policy guide;
- Participate and contribute in all WHS Tool box meeting;
- Participate in department WHS, Fire and Evacuation and Emergency training;
- Demonstrate a high degree of safety awareness at all times.

**Specific Duties of Role**

Shall include but not limited to the following:

- Assisting with hydraulic/mechanical pressure test equipment
- Documentation of pressure testing compliance
- Maintenance of test equipment
- Ensure good housekeeping in test area
- Various clean up procedures for each job
- Using hand and power tools
- Duties as directed by Fabrication Supervisor
- Complete and pass training program (City and Guilds standard will be awarded)

**Physical Requirements**
- Bending
- Twisting and Turning
- Lifting between 5kgs and 15kgs
- Standing for long periods of time
- Repetitive tasks
- Pushing/Pulling
