Davies Group are currently looking for a Team Leader to support our Specialist claims team within our Elland office. Becoming a Team Leader means that you’ll play a key part in managing a team dedicated to the management of Specialist claims for numerous clients. So, you’ll ideally need to come to us with a strong claims background, and the appetite to lead a team in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.

**What will your day look like**:

- Ownership and oversight of the claims handling team, including management of team workload
- Development of claims handers to achieve client SLAs via support and coaching
- Ensure a high level of staff engagement
- Attend Client Review Meetings where appropriate
- Conducting regular performance and audit reviews, include annual PDR’s
- Managing claims handler absences
- Continuous improvement focus leading excellent customer service and technical delivery of claims
- Complaint escalation point
- Ensure Key Performance Indicator targets are reached and maintained
- Manage client communications and perform weekly reporting elements

**Abilities And Knowledge**:

- Proven experience within a similar role leading a team, ideally within a call centre/customer focused environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve performance targets
- A proactive attitude and an enthusiastic approach
