Temporary Staffing Booking Assistant

A vacancy has become available within the Temporary Staffing team for a Temporary Staffing Booking Assistant Full time fixed term contract (37.5 hours per week), must be able to cover between 8am-6pm. The individual will work a mix of 8am-4pm and 10am-6pm shifts. The core business hours for the team are 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.

This role is based at Basildon at Phoenix House and home working for hybrid working.

The vacancies have a core focus on providing a full and comprehensive temporary staffing service to the organisation and external clients, covering all aspects of the request and booking process for internal and external temporary staffing.

Must be able to cover 8am start / 6pm finish

Experience
- Previous experience of working in a busy customer service/ office environment
- Previous Administration/data entry experience
- Previous experience of working in an NHS environment is desirable.

Knowledge
- Working knowledge of E-Rostering System (training can be provided)
- Knowledge of NHS Priorities and Issues
- Knowledge of Bank Staff and ESR systems is desirable (training can be provided).

- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Establish and maintain good working relationships
- Able to work without supervision and use own initiative
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload
- Clear verbal and written communication skills

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £1,192 to a maximum of £2,011 p.a. pro rata for part time).
