**Accounts Payable Assistant**

**Location: Bridgnorth (Remote Working)**

**Salary: £18,000 - £21,000, DoE**

**Job type: Full-time, Permanent**

**Purpose of the Accounts Payable Assistant**:

- An experienced accounts payable administrator responsible for the processing and payment of supplier invoices. To verify, match and code large volume of invoices. A professional person that is able to work cross departmentally and be able to manage their time effectively.
- Manage business expenses and be the owner of the process, implementing improvements where needed.

**Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant**:

- Processing invoices in multiple software platforms, providing cover where required.
- Matching supplier invoices to PO’s and coding invoices
- Posting payments into accounts package
- Statement reviews and requisitions
- Checking GRNI bookings
- Verifying invoices and credit notes
- Responsible for monthly expenses from employees
- Completing supplier payment runs
- Assisting with month end preparation for the Finance Manager
- Manage business credit card and cash expenses
- Provide training induction for new starters for expenses / mileage reimbursement.

**Requirements of the Accounts Payable Assistant**:

- 1 year + experience in a finance department
- Accounts Payable experience
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Word
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- GCSEs or equivalent (including English, Math’s and IT)
- Honest and Trustworthy
- Be flexible
- Good communication skills
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
