We have an exciting opportunity for a Transactional Procurement Partner to join our rapidly growing Transactional Procurement Team within NHS Shared Business Services
We will provide you with all the training so you can deliver an effective customer facing service to our NHS clients, supporting the smooth management of the Purchase to Pay process.
Reporting directly to the Transactional Procurement Service Manager, you will be operating within a key function to manage these requests through an Oracle system and use your communication skills to support customers through their purchasing journey.
This role will be predominantly based from home with potentially 1 or 2 trips to the Salford based office each month.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- To be the point of contact within the team to provide high standards of customer service to ensure efficient processing of requisitions
- Advise stakeholders on effective submission of requisitions to support faster processing of purchase orders and support locating orders not received
- Review procurement requirements, and complete relevant compliance checks
- Communicate with customers to review and correct non-compliant requisitions
- To review documentation including contracts, quotes and catalogue items for processing requisitions
- Resolve any queries for internal and external customers, including any late orders

**What you’ll bring**:

- Computer literacy, particularly with MS Office
- A proven ability to deliver quickly and accurately to customers across a high volume of requests
- A high level of organisational skills, effective time-management and a proactive approach to delivering the best customer service you can
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confident communication with stakeholders at a variety of levels within NHS SBS
