The refer a friend scheme is worth £200 in total. This is split £100 after the person has worked 100 hours and then another £100 when they have passed probation (6 months usually).

We are providing support for a lady who has MND. She has a tracheostomy tube and requires 24-hour ventilation and access to cough assist and suctioning. She has her nutritional needs met via an NG tube due to dysphagia but can tolerate a small fluid intake.

She is a type II diabetic and has her blood glucose levels monitored twice daily and insulin prescribed and administered prior to her NG feed. She has a long-term urethral catheter and requires assistance with personal care.
This is a unique opportunity to support a lady on a waking night basis to support her needs.

There is a full training package in place, which will be delivered by Health Professionals who already support and know this lady, so this will be comprehensive and there will be ongoing training and support.

As a Community Care Worker, you will ensure that our service users receive person-cantered quality care in line with their personal care plans. You will provide a range of services to enable vulnerable adults remain independent within their home
