West Highland Housing Association is a charitable organisation working in the Oban, Lorn and the Isles area. We have a growing number of properties in management and now have an opportunity for someone to join our friendly and enthusiastic team.

We are recruiting for an Admin Support Assistant to help us deliver excellent customer service. The post also assists customers with general enquiries and helps colleagues by providing office admin support.

You’ll be part of a staff team of 32 so you’ll be able to build close working relationships and learn about the varied work being done in each team. The post requires you to work collaboratively and be supportive of colleagues across the organisation. You should embrace all aspects of digital working.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**HOUSING AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE**
- Act as a first point of contact for our general enquiry phone calls and transfer on to the most appropriate staff member if required.
- Greeting customers, contractors and visitors to the office at our reception and assisting with enquiries.

**ASSET MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATION**
- Making appointments for our in-house engineer to service heating systems.
- Flag and escalate no-access cases where asset compliance issues may arise.
- Admin support generated by any larger asset management projects such as letters to customers and saving diary entries to customer and property files on our system.

**OFFICE ADMINISTRATION**
- Take payments made at reception including cash handling
- Preparing incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with maintaining a high standard of office health and safety
- Assist with ordering stationery and office consumables and replenishing photocopiers
- Proactive approach to general office duties

To carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by management (as duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed).

In return West Highland Housing Association is offering an excellent remuneration package which includes 25 days paid leave per year plus 15 public holidays, plus the option to buy/sell 5 days, and a contributory pension scheme. **An annual cost of living pay award will be applied on 1st April.**
